PM ownership scheme will be implemented across the country

While announcing the Union Budget 2021-22, it has been announced by the Finance Minister of our country, Nirmala Sitharaman, to implement the ownership scheme in the whole country. The ownership scheme was launched in October 2020 . Under this scheme, the people of the village are being provided their land documents. In the first phase of this scheme, 20 villages were selected from each district of Uttar Pradesh. For this, survey was also started in all these 75 districts. Now through this scheme the property rights documents will be provided to the citizens of the village. So far, about 1.80 lakh citizens of 1241 villages have been given cards under this scheme. Preparation process has started for the successful implementation of this scheme in Uttar Pradesh and Haryana.

Survey has also been done in many villages in Haryana. This survey is being done through drones. The entire responsibility of conducting the survey has been entrusted to the Survey of India. The entire expenditure under this scheme is being borne by the Central Government.

Survey process under ownership plan

Survey is done through drone under PM Swamitva Yojana . There are several steps to conduct a survey. Area survey is done with the help of GPS drone. Through this survey, geo-tagging of every house built in the village is done and the area of each house is recorded. After entering this area, each household is given a unique ID. Which is also the address of that house. Through this process the complete address of the beneficiary also becomes digital. Now through this scheme the disputes of land and property will come down. Earlier the citizens of the village did not have written documents. But now written documents will be provided by the government to the citizens of the village.

  • During the process of survey, members of village panchayat, officers of revenue department, land owners of the village and police team are present. So that with the mutual consent of the people, the land of their claim can be provided to them. After this, marking is done on the land of Dave.
  • The land owner encircles his area by applying lime. Its picture is taken with a drone. By drone, this process is completed by circling the village. After this the map of the land is prepared with the help of computer.

Time to file ownership plan objection

The citizens of that village are informed in advance of any village survey is conducted by the government. So that all those people who are outside the village can be present in the village on the day of the survey. The complete map of the village is prepared by the government. After this, information about the names of all those citizens in whose name land is given is given to the whole village. All those citizens who have to register their objection can register their objection within at least 15 days and not more than 40 days. All those villages where there is no objection, the land papers are provided to the owner of the land by the officials of the Revenue Department.

Laws can also be made by the state government under PM ownership scheme.

The land title papers can also be downloaded through the official website of the Revenue Department. The state government can also make its own laws for the ownership of lands. This law has also been made by the Haryana government that the entire accountability of the land will be done by the Gram Panchayat. In this situation, if any dispute arises regarding the land, then it is the responsibility of the Gram Panchayat to resolve that dispute.

Swamitva scheme started in 653 villages (Sultanpur)

Under PM Swamitva Yojana , the ownership of the land of the population of rural areas will be handed over to the rural citizens. The scheme was initially launched in only 10 villages. After this, in the second phase, this scheme was started in 200 villages. Now in 653 villages, instructions have been given by District Magistrate Ravish Gupta to start work under the ownership scheme. Citizens of rural areas will be able to use Gharauni for various works. Through this scheme, disputes on land will now be stopped. To provide Gharauni, a survey will be done by drone and after the survey, a map of the land of the population of the people of the identified village will be taken. After this, the maintenance assessment will be done and the objections will be heard.

After the disposal of these objections, the feeding of land records will be done in the revenue records. After this, copies of Gharauni and Khatauni will be provided to the citizens. Through this scheme, disputes will now be reduced and citizens will also be able to get loans on Gharauni. Under the Swamitva scheme, work has been started in 653 rural areas. Soon work will start in the rest of the rural areas as well.
