UP Varasat Abhiyan is being started by the Government of Uttar Pradesh. Under this campaign, the disputed succession will be recorded in Khatauni. Jamabandi/Fard- Jamabandi/Fard contains the main land record details such as owner name, cultivator name, khasra number, land, area, crop details, lease details etc.
Khasra Number- Khasra number is a type of unique plot number or survey number which is given to agricultural land by the state government.
Khata/Khewat Number- Khata or Khevat number is a type of number assigned to a set of owners who have a part of land of different Khasra numbers.
Khatauni Number- Khatauni Number is a type of number assigned to the set of cultivars who cultivate the part of land of different Khasra numbers.
